Indian Independence Day

Indian Independence Day celebrated on August 15. It marks the end of the British rule in 1947 and establishment of Independent Indian nation. It also marks the partition of the one subcontinent into two countries, now called as India and Pakistan.

The British rule in India began in 1757, the British comes to India as an East Indian Company and they began exercising control over the country. The East Indian Company ruled India for over 100 years.

But now we celebrate the Independence of the country as Independence Day and it is marked throughout India with flag-raising ceremonies, people sing 'bhakti' songs to respect the freedom fighters. Student celebrates the precious day on their schools and enjoys the day as a national holiday.


Indian Prime minister participates in the flag-raising ceremony at the Red Fort which is located in the Old Delhi and one of the historic monument of India. Then the prime minister delivers a speech in front of the whole nation which gets televised in almost all the channels and discusses the future of the country.

The End Of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was death on last today at 5:05 pm, August 16 2018. So Delhi Government has asked for close schools and colleges for his memory .On the occasion, the school and colleges will remain closed for a day. Mr Vajpayee, the BJP  former prime minister  was admitted to hospital on June 11 with a urinary tract infection and chest congestion. PM Narendra Modi visited him twice in 24 hours and all the other politcians from across parties arrived as the former prime minister's health worsened on Wednesday. But tomorrow his condition getting worst. AIIMS said " Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated over the last 36 hours and he was put on life support systems. Despite the best of efforts, we have lost him today ". Eid al-Adha or عيد الأضحى

Eid al-Adha or عيد الأضحى Eid al-Adha is also know as Bakrid, and it is the festival of sacrifice, Eid al-Adha is the one of the most important festival for the Muslims and it is celebrated worldwide each year. On 2018, it will celebrated on 22-08-2018. Eid al-Adha is honors the willingness of Amraham to who sacrifices his son for the obedience to God's command. Before Abraham could sacrifice his son, God provided a ram to sacrifice a ram instead of his son.  This year(2018) the day will begin on the evening of August 21 and will continue till the evenin of the August 22. Traditions During Eid al-Adha, people distribute meat, chanting the takbir out lud before the Eid prayers on the first day and after the prayers in between three days of Eid, are considered essential parts of this important Islamic festival.
